  1. Scriptorium Font Library
  2.  
  3.     The Scriptorium Font Library is a 
  4. collection of fonts designed by Dave 
  5. Nalle of Ragnarok Games for use in 
  6. their publications.  These fonts have 
  7. just been made available by mailorder 
  8. or as shareware from Ragnarok.
  9.     Provided here is an up to date 
  10. listing of all the font disks available at 
  11. this time.  Each disk includes at least 
  12. 10 fonts, which are fully registered 
  13. when you purchase the disk.
  14.  
  15. SFL-1001: Font Sampler I
  16.     This disk includes 3 text fonts, 3 
  17. calligraphic fonts, 3 display fonts and 
  18. 3 specialty fonts taken from our 
  19. original series of font disks.  It 
  20. includes our very popular Taranis font 
  21. as well as the new FABLIAUX font, the 
  22. medieval calligraphic fonts Bastarda 
  23. and Courthand, plus two fonts from 
  24. the Ysgarth role-playing game and the 
  25. uniquely mystical Goetic font based 
  26. on 18th century magical scripts.  $15.

  29. SFL-1002: Font Sampler II
  30.     This contains a new variety 
  31. selection of fonts, including text, 
  32. display, decorative and calligraphic 
  33. fonts taken mostly from our second 
  34. series of font disks.  $15.  Update $5.

  36. SFL-2001: Text Fonts
  37.     This contains 10 unique serif and 
  38. sans-serif fonts which meet the high 
  39. resolution demands of all text uses.  
  40. The collection includes some elegant 
  41. traditional fonts (both serif and sans-
  42. serif) like our Tancred and Palomides 
  43. fonts, plus some very unusual 
  44. offerings like the Kelmscott font based 
  45. on William Morris' Troy font from the 
  46. Kelmscott edition of Chaucer's works.

  49. SFL-2002: Text Fonts II
  50.     This collection includes ten great
  51. new text fonts, including 5 serif and 5
  52. sans serif fonts.  It will be available in
  53. the summer of 1993 for $15.  Update $5.

  55. SFL-3001: Display Fonts
  56.     This disk features 10 attractive 
  57. display fonts, including several art 
  58. nouveau and medieval styles, plus a 
  59. couple of unusual special use fonts.  
  60. Our favorites are the Starfield font, 
  61. which looks like a scattered field of 
  62. stars, the Buccaneer font, drawn from 
  63. 17th century wanted posters and the 
  64. Ariosto and Elysian fonts based on 
  65. hand drawn fonts of the Munich 
  66. Jugendstil movement of the 1890s.  
  67. Because these are display fonts they 
  68. may not all include both upper and 
  69. lower case letters, but they include all 
  70. characters which are available and we 
  71. will expand the character sets as we 
  72. continue to work with them.  $15.

  75. SFL-3002: More Display Fonts
  76.     This disk features 10 new display 
  77. fonts, including a number of 
  78. interesting renaissance styles, plus 
  79. some early modern book styles and 
  80. decorative initials.  It will not be 
  81. available until the Spring of 1993.

  84. SFL-4001: Calligraphic Fonts
  85.     This disk includes a variety of 
  86. calligraphic fonts, including several 
  87. Celtic-style fonts, fonts based on 
  88. medieval and renaissance calligraphy 
  89. and calligraphy from several 19th 
  90. century art nouveau designers.   
  91. Because these are based on genuine 
  92. calligraphy they may not include all 
  93. the characters you may expect and 
  94. may include specialty characters or 
  95. strange alternate forms for some 
  96. letters.  $15.  Update $5.
  97.  
  98. SFL-4002: More Calligraphic Fonts
  99.     This disk includes a variety of 
  100. medieval English, French and Italian 
  101. lettering styles plus several Eastern 
  102. European styles.  It will be available in 
  103. the Spring of '93. $15.  Update $5.
  104.  
  105. SFL-5001: Specialty Fonts
  106.     A collection of fonts for 
  107. languages which don't use the English 
  108. alphabet, including both obscure real 
  109. world and historical languages and 
  110. role-playing game world languages.  
  111. Check out the Coptic and Futhark 
  112. fonts if you want something really 
  113. different.  Oh, and did you say you 
  114. were going mad because you couldn't 
  115. decorate your computer-generated 
  116. icons without Church Slavonic?  Well, 
  117. try Patriarch.  It reads in English, but 
  118. looks like Church Slavonic.  $15.

  121. SFL - 6001: Decorative Fonts
  122.     A special assortment of art fonts 
  123. where each letter is a decorative initial 
  124. or small picture.  It includes several 
  125. illuminated manuscript alphabets, a 
  126. set of Arthurian miniatures, a 
  127. collection of map decorations, a font 
  128. of art nouveau faces and some Art 
  129. Nouveau floral motifs.  This disk is not 
  130. yet available, but it can be advance 
  131. ordered for $15.

  133. UPDATE POLICY
  134.     Each of our font disks is updated 
  135. with new versions at least once every 
  136. three months, with updates being 
  137. released on the first of January, April, 
  138. July and October.  If you send in your 
  139. original disk and $5 we will update 
  140. you with the latest versions of all the 
  141. fonts on that disk.  Most of our fonts 
  142. are brand new, so expect pretty 
  143. substantial changes with some of the 
  144. updates over the next year or so.

  146. SHAREWARE NOTE
  147.     Support shareware.  If you see 
  148. our disks being circulated as 
  149. unregistered copies (without our 
  150. shareware notice), let us know...or let 
  151. the culprit know that you dont' 
  152. approve.  These fonts are too damned 
  153. cheap for anyone NOT to pay their 
  154. shareware fee or order them on disk.
